Hello from Nancy (Burnett) Lindner, class of 1965.  I attended Michigan State University earning my degree in Special Education with a minor in Communication.

After a variety of teaching and business experiences, I returned to Fremont in 1979 and began a 15 year career at Gerber Products Company, culminating in my position of Manager of Public Relations.  The communications field was evidently my first love, although it took me several years to discover my calling - A wonderful experience.

In 1995, I left Gerber to take care of my mother and participate in many volunteer activities in Fremont and Newaygo County.  My husband, Peter Lindner, and I still live in Fremont and consider it a most remarkable community for its size and location.

There was no one educator that I would cite as THE person who made a difference in my life.  They all made a difference.   Some nurtured, some intimadated -- all cared.  When I view the world now I wish I could give today's children the same loving, caring environment in which I grew up. Every child deserves the best we can give.
