Hello Fremont Public School Alumni,

My name is Harold J Kunnen (Hal) and I graduated from FHS in 1969. If you would like to provide my information for your alumni web page regarding my military service. I would be proud to share the space with the younger folks who are actively defending our country today.

I was commissioned in 1975 in the US Air Force after receiving my bachelors of science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Michigan State University. After serving 20 years in various aspects of Air Force weapon system development, I retired in 1997 as an Air Force Major

and am living in Tempe Arizona. My wife Wendy Rogers is also a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel.

We have one son, George R. Kunnen who is a reserve Lance Corporal in the Marines and is a sophomore studying Electronics Engineering at Arizona State University. Our daughter Emily R. Kunnen is a junior at Tempe Preparatory Academy.

We now own our small business called HouseMaster Home and Termite Inspections, which provides inspections for homes purchased in Phoenix Arizona. We have been operating this business and managing rental properties in Phoenix for over 10 years.

I am the second son of Albert and Eloise Kunnen whose dairy farm is at 3571 S Green Ave. My oldest sister is Beth Hunt, and then, in order of birth, is John Kunnen, Carolyn Cooper, William Kunnen (of Fremont), Steven Kunnen, and Lora DeVries. All are graduates of Fremont High School.
