Kingsnorth, Superintendent, presented Board Recognition to Courtney Jones
and Carley DeKryger. Courtney received Gold Key and Silver Key awards at
the 2008 Scholastic Art Awards ceremony (regional competition) for her
photography, and Carley received Honorable Mention for her photograph. Their art work will be going on to the
NCCS annual competition, and Courtney’s art work will be going on to the
national competition in New York. Both students shared their photographs
with the Board.

The Varsity Girls Basketball team won at
Districts last Friday, February 22, 2008.

They will be playing Grand Rapids Catholic
Central Tuesday, February 26.

John has 2 tickets to the Fremont Chamber of
Commerce dinner at the Shack if anyone would like to use them. He will not be able to attend.
·
3 Varsity Wrestlers going to state: Mike Dunbar, Tim Carpenter and Brad
Jones.
·
Boys’ & Girls’ Bowling teams are both
going to the State finals. The boys’
team placed 2nd at Regionals and the Girls’ team placed 3rd.
·
This weekend will be the Boy’s District game
in Newaygo.
