We want nothing less than the exceptional for our students, which is why Fremont Public Schools offers a wide variety of opportunities to excel academically, socially and personally.
Academically, we offer a variety of learning opportunities at each grade level in order to meet the individual needs of our students – whether they require extra help or benefit from advanced or independent coursework. At the high school level alone, we offer more than 150 courses, ranging from basic learning to Advanced Placement and college classes.
In addition to these numerous offerings, we work to individualize each student’s education, encouraging our younger students in career exploration and personalizing our high school students’ coursework according to their aptitudes, interests and selected Career Pathway.
Beyond academics, Fremont Public Schools also offers countless opportunities for social and personal growth through field trips, assemblies, service learning projects, etc. - even at the youngest ages. As our students grow, so does the number of opportunities they may choose from. Our high school students may select from more than four dozen extra curricular offerings – ranging from sports to clubs to international exchanges.
Finally, the entire community may take advantage of additional opportunities through Fremont’s Community Education program, which offers a variety of courses for nearly every age.
The opportunities available to the FPS community are nothing short of exceptional!

International Opportunities
Fremont Public Schools also offers a wide variety of international study opportunities. Students may travel abroad to Japan, Germany, South America, Mexico or Canada. Through study abroad programs, students are able to experience the environment, history and the everyday life of another country.
Students who do not choose to participate by traveling abroad may still experience international culture when students from other countries visit our district. Several of our International Study programs are designed to include students from the host country to travel to Fremont to experience our culture, just as our students were able to experience
theirs.
FHS also hosts dozens of exchange students each year, increasing our students’ international awareness and education.
