Pine Street Primary Center’s 9th Annual Gingerbread House Contest

Pine Street Primary’s 2006 Gingerbread House Contest was a great success. During the weeks preceding Christmas, 25 entries were on display. The entries included everything: traditional, a farm, a house for sale, a train track, even a house made entirely of chocolate and another made of solid cake! To vote, those who viewed the display placed money in the bowls of their favorites. The voting collected $649.88; the Fremont Area Foundation matched this amount to yield $1299.76 for the NCCS Children’s Fund. First place T-shirts went to Madison and her mom, Prudi. Jade Peterson took second place. Third place went to Maggie Degen. Mason Westgate won fourth place and Garrett Visscher won fifth place.

Pine Street Primary Center would like to thank everyone who set aside time during the busy holiday season to participate in this special event; special thanks also to all those who voted so generously. Pine Street is blessed to be in such a wonderful community.
