Pine Street Primary Center’s 9th Annual Gingerbread House Contest Pine Street Primary’s 2006 Gingerbread House Contest was a great success. During the weeks preceding Christmas, 25 entries were on display. The entries included everything: traditional, a farm, a house for sale, a train track, even a house made entirely of chocolate and another made of solid cake! To vote, those who viewed the display placed money in the bowls of their favorites. The voting collected $649.88; the Fremont Area Foundation matched this amount to yield $1299.76 for the NCCS Children’s Fund. First place T-shirts went to Madison and her mom, Prudi. Jade Peterson took second place. Third place went to Maggie Degen. Mason Westgate won fourth place and Garrett Visscher won fifth place. |
