Hot breakfast items are offered once or twice a week, along with a large variety of prepackaged cereals, other bread items like muffins, cinnamon roll, cereal bar, etc., yogurt, cheese stick, variety of fresh and canned fruits, and milk. We encourage your child(ren) to eat a school breakfast to start their day.

Daily Lunch Options

The FPS Food Service Department offers your middle school student at least four choices daily for a nutritious balanced school lunch.

“MAIN STREET” – Regular Lunch Line for $2.25 – Student lunch includes choice of pizza, sandwiches, pre-made salads, and two other hot items each day. Students also have a choice of french fries, vegetables, lettuce salad, fruit, additional bread, milk and sometimes dessert. Prepayment is required for this line. Deposits of $100 or more qualify for a 6 percent bonus added to the student’s account.

“SIDE STREET” – (Monday & Friday) for $2.25 – This line will offer a regular food bar lunch at least twice a week (such as a chicken sandwich, chicken fries, sandwich bar, walking tacos or meat and cheese nachos). Students will also have the choice of vegetables, fruits, bread, milk and sometimes dessert. Prepayment into a student’s account is required for this line.

“SIDE STREET” - Fast Food Lunches (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday) – We will offer a full school lunch on these days for $2.25, $2.50 and $3.00, or items may be purchased ala carte. This line will offer Spanky’s pizza and breadsticks on Tuesdays; Subway & Main Street Deli Subs on Wednesdays; Pizza Hut pizza and breadsticks on Thursdays; and Arby’s roast beef sandwiches on Fridays. Prepayment into a student’s account is required for this line.

“THE ALLEY” – Regular Lunch and Ala Carte Items - A main item with milk or fruit will qualify for a school lunch for $2.25. Hot items may include egg rolls, Bosco cheese breadsticks, chicken strips, and popcorn shrimp. Other items like pizza sticks, cheese pretzels, cookies, string cheese, chips, Twix, yogurt, dill pickles, various drinks, and some ice cream products are offered daily at ala carte prices. New this year, students may pay cash or use their computer account for this line.

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: If you want to ensure that your child is spending their allotted money on a "balanced lunch" and not on ala carte items, it is highly recommended that you prepay for lunches and indicate on your check or write a note stating your preference. This will code the computer with your wishes and prevent your child from spending his/her lunch money on other items of less nutritional value. Deposits of $100 or more qualify for a 6% bonus added to their account.
